On October 15, the National Agency for Rural Development, in cooperation with the Rural Advisory Centre from Staro Pole, Gdansk, Poland, organized the closing conference of the project “Utilization of Agricultural Resources toward Ensuring Quality Standards, a project financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland (Polish Aid).
The conference hosted more than 105 participants out of which Polish advisors, ACSA consultants, mayors and specialists from the rayon agricultural departments. The main conference speeches focused mainly on toting up the project activities and debating various issues related to products’ quality and compliance with European quality standards.
This is a technical assistance project which aimed to familiarize ACSA advisors and representatives of rayon and local public authorities with reforms undertaken by Poland across value chains in the period of pre-accession and post-integration to European Union. The project included organization and delivery of several training programs and study visits in Poland for more than 80 ACSA advisors, mayors and specialists from rayon agricultural departments.
