Thus, the list of products that are subjects of specific marketing standards has been reduced to ten. For products that were not included in this list, including apricots, old standards were replaced by General Marketing Standard.
At the same time, if the marketing standards for individual products have to be set , these standards should correspond to those adopted by the Economic Commission for Europe of United Nations (UNECE). UNECE Standard for apricots can be downloaded here.
In addition, Moldovan exporters must take into account that individual companies, particularly supermarkets have their own standards and specifications which are more stringent than those of the EU and UNECE.
